Pneumatic (Airflow) Conveying System

The dilute phase pneumatic (gas flow) conveying system uses gas pressure below 1kg/cm2, adopts positive pressure (pressure feeding) or negative pressure (suction feeding), and pushes or pulls materials through the entire conveying line at a high speed. Therefore, this conveying method is called a low-pressure high-speed system, which has a high gas material ratio.

At the beginning of the system, there is an acceleration of about 600m/min, and at the end, it can reach a high speed of 1300m/min, resulting in a higher airflow velocity. The initial pressure of the conveying pipeline is generally lower than 0.1Mpa, while the end pressure is basically close to atmospheric pressure. The medium for dilute phase transportation is generally air or nitrogen, and the power supply is usually provided by a Roots vacuum pump. When the Roots vacuum pump is used for dilute phase transportation, the material is suspended in the pipeline for a distance of up to 100 meters. The main characteristic of dilute phase negative pressure is that it can be transported from multiple points at low or bulk locations to one or more points at high locations.

The characteristics of positive pressure conveying are large conveying volume, long distance, low flow rate, and stability. It has a relatively small impact on materials and is mainly composed of star shaped feeding valves, cyclone separators, dust collectors, and Roots blowers.

Positive pressure and negative pressure can also be combined to meet special requirements, and are more suitable for multi-point feeding and single point discharge conveying methods, usually for conveying powder, small particles, or materials with lighter specific gravity.

Strong concept dense phase positive pressure system
It is a dense phase, high voltage, medium low speed, batch transmission system. Generally used for short distance transmission of high-density, thermally sensitive, semi abrasive, and/or abrasive materials. For example, silica sand, plastic pellets, salt, quartz, whole grains, corn, oats, and barley.
The typical transmission speed is about 5 meters per second, and the transmission pressure reaches 4 bar.
The feeding of the conveying pipeline requires a pressure vessel and a high-pressure air compressor to provide a gas source with a pressure of up to 7 bar.

Conceptual dense phase positive pressure system for the entire line
It is a dense phase, medium high pressure, medium low speed, batch transmission system. Generally used for transporting medium to high density, thermosensitive, semi abrasive and/or highly abrasive, adhesive and/or brittle materials of almost any particle size. For example, silica sand, glass ingredients, sugar, powdered sugar, fine cereal grains, coffee beans, plastic pellets, bentonite, cement, starch, quartz powder, bentonite, kaolin, zinc oxide, and alumina.
The typical transmission speed is about 0.5-5 meters per second, and the transmission pressure reaches 7 bar.
No directional valve is required, only the receiving valve is needed. As this valve is located at the top of the easily accessible silo, maintenance is convenient.

Continuous concept dense phase positive pressure system for the entire line
It is a dense phase, medium high pressure, low and medium speed, continuous transmission system. Generally used for long-distance transmission of medium to high density, thermosensitive, semi abrasive and/or highly abrasive, adhesive and/or brittle materials of almost any particle size. For example, fine laundry detergent, silica sand, glass ingredients, sugar, powdered sugar, fine meal grains, coffee beans, plastic pellets, bentonite, cement, starch, quartz powder, bentonite, kaolin, zinc oxide, granulated carbon black, and alumina.
The typical transmission speed is about 0.5-5 meters per second, and the transmission pressure reaches 7 bar.

Positive pressure concept continuous dilute phase positive pressure system
It is a dilute phase, low-pressure, high-speed, continuous transmission system. Generally used for transporting low-density, non abrasive bulk solids without considering material degradation. For example, flour, sugar, salt, rice grains, malt, and plastic pellets.
The typical transmission speed is about 20 meters per second, and the transmission pressure reaches 1 bar.
Use a rotary airlock feeder to control the feeding rate of the conveying pipeline, and the gas source is a low-pressure positive displacement blower.

Positive pressure concept batch dilute phase positive pressure system
It is a dilute phase, low voltage, medium speed, batch transmission system. Generally used for transporting non heat sensitive, high-density, flowable, and moderately abrasive materials. For example, sea freight coal, quartz powder, bentonite, soda ash, cement, fly ash, alumina, and calcium hydroxide.
The typical transmission speed is about 12.5 meters per second, and the transmission pressure reaches 1 bar.
Use a pressure vessel to control the feeding rate of the conveying pipeline, with a low-pressure positive displacement blower serving as the gas source.

Negative pressure concept continuous dilute phase negative pressure system
It is a short distance, dilute phase, high-speed, low-pressure, continuous negative pressure transmission system. Generally used for transporting low-density, non abrasive materials. For example, flour, kaolin, plastic pellets, grains, malt, corn, starch, and plastic resin.
The typical transmission speed generally exceeds 20 meters per second, and the negative pressure transmission pressure reaches 381 millimeters of mercury.
The low-pressure positive displacement fan continuously sucks in materials under negative pressure. The system includes negative pressure suction nozzle, negative pressure conveying pipeline, negative pressure filter/receiver, rotary airlock feeder, and positive displacement fan.
