Large capacity air flow mixer (Aseptic Mixer)

The strong advantage of a large capacity airflow mixer (sterile mixer) is that it is used for comprehensive mixing of single varieties and multiple batches, with fast mixing speed, short mixing time, high mixing accuracy, and large batch processing capacity. Especially suitable for mixing thermosensitive materials.


1. Principle of large capacity airflow mixer

The air flow mixer utilizes the principle of rapid volume expansion after compressed air pressure reduction to spray purified compressed air into the bottom of the silo, rapidly pushing and lifting the powder material. The arrangement and angle of the compressed air nozzle are designed to keep the material in boiling state in the silo, and the material is diffused in all directions to achieve rapid mixing. The mixed gas is discharged through the upper air filtration system.


2. Scope of application of large capacity airflow mixer

Suitable for mixing large quantities of materials with different materials, packing densities, and fineness. It can be used in industries such as chemical products, plastics, pharmaceuticals, electronic substrates, food, feed, cement, soil and stone, ceramic raw materials, etc., where there are requirements for uniformity, rapid and large capacity mixing. Mixing operations of materials such as methyl cellulose powder, hydroxyethyl cellulose, cellulose ether, and plastic particles.


3. Main characteristics of large capacity airflow mixer

3.1 Fast mixing speed and short mixing time.
Mixing a batch of materials usually requires several pulses, with a gas supply (mixing) time of several seconds per pulse cycle and an interval of several seconds (gas stop). A batch of materials can be quickly and uniformly mixed after several pulses (the mixing process can be programmed through PLC and can be manually or automatically controlled, and the length of gas supply mixing time, gas stop residence time, and pulse frequency are determined by the owner).
3.2 High mixing accuracy and large batch processing capability.
The mixer (silo) has a large volume and a filling coefficient of 0.4-0.6, making it particularly suitable for mixing large quantities of powder materials. The processing capacity ranges from a few tons to tens of tons.
3.3 Adaptation to Mixing Heat Sensitive Materials
The hybrid operation is powered by compressed air, and there are no mechanical rotating parts inside the mixer, so there is no shear force, no lubrication pollution source, and no frictional heat during the mixing process, making it particularly suitable for mixing thermosensitive materials.
3.4 Low failure rate
The equipment has a simple structure, with any mechanical rotating parts having a low failure rate, and easy and reliable operation and maintenance.
3.5 Low operating costs.
Low energy consumption per unit product and low operating costs.
3.6 Mixing without blind spots
No concave circular holes, residual corners, etc., and the discharge is clean without any residue. Suitable for high-end, pharmaceutical, food, etc.
3.7 No dust pollution
The system is closed and free from dust pollution.

Micro positive pressure inside the warehouse;
Mixing time 3-5 minutes
