Working principle
The drum dryer is an internally heated conductive rotating continuous drying equipment. The rotating drum adheres to a thick material film through its lower material groove, and heat is transported to the inner wall of the drum through a pipeline, then transmitted to the outer wall of the drum, and then transmitted to the material film, causing the moisture in the material film to evaporate, dehumidify, and dry the material containing moisture. The dried material is scraped off the drum by a scraper installed on the surface of the drum, and then transported to a spiral conveyor placed below the scraper, where the dry material is concentrated and packaged.
Performance characteristics
High thermal efficiency. Due to the heat transfer mechanism of the drum dryer being heat conduction, the heat transfer direction remains consistent throughout the entire operating cycle. Except for heat dissipation and radiation loss from the cover, all other heat is used for the evaporation of the wet content of the drum material film, with a thermal efficiency of 70% -80%.
High operational flexibility and wide applicability. There are many drying factors that can be adjusted for drum dryers. The concentration of the feed, the thickness of the coating film, the temperature of the heating medium, and the rotational speed of the drum can all change the drying efficiency of the drum dryer, and many factors are not related to each other. This brings great convenience to the drum drying operation, making it suitable for drying various materials and different production requirements.
Short drying time. The drying cycle of materials is generally only 10-300 seconds, which is suitable for heat sensitive materials. If the drum dryer is set in a vacuum, it can operate under reduced pressure conditions.
High drying rate. Due to the thin film of the coating applied to the cylinder wall, usually between 0.3 and 1.5mm, and the consistent direction of heat and mass transfer, the surface of the film can maintain an evaporation strength of 20-70kg. H2O/m2. h.
Install
The installation of this machine is based on the general layout, with a flat ground and a pressure gauge and safety valve installed at the inlet of the steam pipe. The flanges at each steam inlet are firmly connected.
Adapt to materials
Suitable for drying liquids or viscous materials in industries such as chemical, dye, pharmaceutical, food, metallurgy, etc.
Maintenance
Regularly check the rotational flexibility of rotating components for any jamming. Sprockets and other components should be regularly lubricated and pressure gauges and other measuring devices should be regularly calibrated for errors. If there is severe wear on the triangular belt transmission components, they should be replaced in a timely manner.

Debugging
After the installation of this machine, a trial operation experiment must be conducted first
Inch the main motor to observe the correct rotation of the main drum.
Observe whether the main drum and various transmission components rotate flexibly, whether the steam inlet and outlet are connected, and whether the pressure gauge is within the working pressure range.
Start the motor, and the main drum runs smoothly. When the temperature rises, add materials, and then adjust the motor speed and the uniformity of materials on the drum film to control the final water content of materials.
Start the winding motor, output the dried finished materials, and adjust the winding motor speed according to the amount of dried finished products.
